End-to-End Charging for Heavy-Duty EVs at Shell Recharge Solutions
Designing Scalable Solutions for Subcontractor Charging in eMobility
Results
As part of my work with Shell Recharge Solutions, I led the service design for a key innovation initiative: enabling subcontractor charging at eDepot locations—a solution designed to help fleet customers open their sites to external partners and accelerate ROI on decarbonization efforts.
This complex, high-value project involved aligning diverse stakeholders across multiple Shell organizations to define and deliver a seamless customer journey and integrated product-service system.
My contributions included:
Co-developing a shared vision and future-state blueprint that bridged commercial, technical, and operational requirements across five internal teams.
Designing and facilitating a collaborative design process to move from exploration to implementation—ensuring buy-in, clarity, and alignment at every stage.
Supporting delivery through pilot validation and go-live, with a focus on maintaining customer-centricity while navigating technical and organizational constraints.
The offering is now a live revenue stream, and the experience and tools developed during this initiative laid the groundwork for scalable future deployments.
Due to the confidential nature of the project, I’m unable to share more information about this project—but I’d be glad to discuss the process, challenges, and strategic lessons in a direct conversation.
